Photos and videos set to "view once" are downloaded the moment they arrive. The Telegram timer runs out, but the copy is already in the archive.

No. The archive reads the chats of your own account and never reveals itself: it sends no messages, marks nothing as read, and leaves no traces. The only exception is the "auto-read" option, which sets real read receipts, so it's off by default and turned on manually for specific chats.

No. The "Telegram Business → Chatbots" section is open to everyone: Telegram no longer requires Premium to connect chatbots. Add our bot there, and your private chats will start being archived without logging into the account.
Only private chats, and only from the moment it's connected: that's how Telegram's business channel works. Groups, channels, stories, reactions, and history before connection aren't covered. A full archive needs a full login, and on paid plans both methods run in parallel: the bot backs up your private chats if the session drops.
